At the edge of Las Cruces is the historical area known as Mesilla. A beautiful little square in the center of town surrounded by restored adobe buildings. These buildings now house shops, art galleries, museums, and historical information about the area. It's particularly beautiful during the holidays. Luminarias line the walkways creating a warm glow and various choral groups provide evening entertainment. It's quaint and charming and cultural. Not to be missed.
